3 Best mountain stations in India for this summer trip

Mountains are love and you have to agree with me. But most of the hill stations in India are now, unfortunately, very commercialized; The intermediate season is also touristy; And in order to find peace, one must not forget the noise. This is why it was important for me to explore the options, and unusual vacationers in India started looking for ideas.

Surprisingly, there were many little-explored places in the Himalayas and much less in other parts of the country! The number is very large. So, I thought, I will list for you some of them that I love are not in the mood for spending their summer vacations at a chaotic hill station in India.

Chatpal, Jammu and Kashmir

Chatpal, Jammu and Kashmir

Ah, I fell in love with Chatpal ever since I saw his photographs. This extraordinary place in Jammu and Kashmir is all you and I need for an unforgettable stay. Hiding from all the popular tourist destinations of Kashmir, Chatpal is a symbol of the beauty of this valley.

Since the place has been mentioned in blogs with less travel until now, it remains a hidden secret among the severely stressed people. Imagine that you are vacationing on the banks of a river with cold water; You can find yourself surrounded by lush green meadows while admiring an environment full of tranquility. Chatpal is perfect for a family trip or visiting with your partner.

How to get to Chatpal?

This unusual place in Kashmir is located in the Shangas region of the Kashmir Valley and can be reached by road via Anantnag and Chitragul. You can hire a taxi from Srinagar to Chatpal or from Chetarul. From Chitragul, Chatpal can go hiking to add a thrill to their journey.

Note. Since most drivers are unaware of Chatpal, it is recommended that you use Anantnag's Google Maps navigation instructions.

Where to stay in Chatpal?

Near the Department of Tourism of Jammu and Kashmir, there are several beautiful cottages that are perfect for booking accommodation.

Ascot, Uttarakhand

Ascot, Uttarakhand

Ascot defines what an unusual destination is. This hill station is located in the easternmost part of Uttarakhand, near the Indo-Nepal border. Since fewer people know about Ascot, you can leave this place close to everyone if you decide to host this unusual event in the Himalayas.

Those who know about this place also know about the beautiful wildlife sanctuary where rare musk deer live. Your sight at Ascot will include luscious pine, cedar, rhododendron forests and growling streams against a stunning backdrop of the Chipakot and Panchchuli ridges along the mountains of Nepal.

How do you get outrage?

If you take the train to Kathgodam in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, you will have to hire a taxi to take the 234 km journey to Ascot. Good news, there is now an air connection between Dehradun and Pithoragarh . The newly opened airport at Pitoragarh is 52 km from Ascot. So if you want, you can first fly to Dehradun and from there to Pithoragarh , or take a bus from Delhi to Dehradun (if you are here) and then fly to Pithoragarh . This will save you a lot of time and energy anyway.

Where to stay?

Ascot has rest homes for the disabled. If you are unable to get one of the booked rooms, you can also stay at Pithoragarh , where there are many hotels.

Gurez Valley, Jammu and Kashmir

Gurez Valley, Jammu and Kashmir

Kashmir never surprises with its beauty and the Gurez Valley is a great example of this. In fact, Gurez is one of the best undiscovered mountainous spots in India, with crystal clear streams that make their way through velvet meadows; High mountains, often covered with snow; And the greenery of the alpine forest.

One thing that is clearly unique in Gurez than any other unusual hill station in India is the barbed wire fence, yes, Gurez has a border with Pakistan, but unlike other border sharing points in the valley, it is completely peaceful from

This is a place where you can not only see the beauty of Kashmir and see its authentic tribal culture, but also devote time to introspection. The Gurez Valley is ideal for a solo trip or with people sharing the same love for culture and nature, as well as many adventures.

How to get to the Gurez Valley?

The best way to get to the Gurez Valley is by hiring a taxi from Srinagar.

Where to stay in the Gurez Valley?

Since this is probably one or two locations in the entire valley, you may also be invited to stay with the locals.
